My club Forest Killarney
was first formed in 1962 with only 2 teams ( U8 and U10) entering into the local competition. By the 1963 it had grown to
11 teams.
Our home ground at Forestville was rough with tree roots and rocky patches and members of the day helped to seed the oval and plant trees around the perimeter. This later became known as Melwood Oval.
1966 we had become the largest club in the MWSA ( Manly Warringah Sporting Association) with 23 teams and 300 players.
1967 the Club was considered too large, which resulted in the formation of Wakehurst FC and later the Belrose Terrey Hills Raiders FC.
1969 Forest had grown again to 32 teams and a further split was made to form Killarney Heights Soccer Club.
1993 Killarney Heights and Forest rejoined to form the present day Forest Killarney FC.
In 2011 we celebrated our 50th season.
In 2012 the club had 1049 players registered.
Forest Killarney Football Club endeavors to promote competitive but fair play and sportsmanship, providing a family-orientated environment and sporting service for its local community.

At the age of 4 I started playing soccer and have continued playing ever since.
In 2014 I played for Forest Killarney FC in their U12 division 1 team. We were fortunate to win both Minor premiership and the Grand final. We are presently competing in the Champions of Champions tournament against teams across NSW.
